Easy repair
I bought a non-working wheelwriter for $50. It turned out that the solenoid cap had disintegrated. This must be a common problem. The repair is pretty easy. Just be sure to adjust the piece that the cap hits while you're in there.

Service was GREAT, faster than expected. The part fit without a problem and the machine is working like new. I'll be back in 30 years for another one. ;-)

1393900 - Print Hammer Solenoid Cap
Fits all wheelwriters - This pad will eventually break down and cause the print hammer to fail to strike the printwheel. This will cause the machine to stop printing. This is a reconditioned part
