About the Nakajima WPT-160 Spanish Bundle
The Nakajima WPT-160 electronic typewriter is lightweight, portable, fast and easy to use for basic typewriter users. This bundle is for the Spanish version of the typewriter and printwheels. It includes one Nakajima WPT-160 typewriter in Spanish and four Nakajima printwheels in Spanish, which are the Elite 12, Bloc Pica 10, Berlin Italic 10/12, and Letter Gothic 10/12.
The difference between the English and Spanish versions of this typewriter is that the Spanish machines include 14 different extra characters. So if you are using a Spanish typewriter, you must use a Spanish printwheel to have full functionality. If you put an English printwheel in a Spanish typewriter, it will print, but it will not have all of the required characters a Spanish speaking individual will need.
However, an English speaking and writing customer can use the Spanish version of the typewriter and printwheels without any problems. The only difference is that the Spanish machine will have some additional characters that do not have an escapement movement to the right. This means that when you print one of these characters, the print head prints the character and does not advance to the right. Please see our comparison chart in the images for further details.
